When he heard that the Shark ass building was about to be demolished, Mr. Ta Xuan Tue - son of the late architect Ta Xuan Van brought his father's photo to this project to take a photo.
Mr. Tue took souvenir photos and chatted with people who were coming here to take photos with the Shark's reward building.
Architect Ta Xuan Van designed this building, then renovated it twice in 1996, 1998.

Since I heard that the building was about to be demolished, I have been going up here occasionally, sitting and admiring the project that has been present by Hoan Kiem Lake for more than thirty years. Despite many controversies, after all those years, the building has become a part of the memories of many Hanoians. I was also very happy to see the bustling crowd coming here to take photos before the building was demolished, said Mr. Tue.
This building has long been called the Shark's Den. In fact, in the design documents and construction permit, this project is called the International Trade Center.
Former Architect Ta Xuan Van and his colleagues often call it the Bo Ho Round House project.
Talking about the design of the building, Mr. Ta Xuan Tue was told by Architect Ta Xuan Van that before deciding to construct, he had carefully researched to come up with the lines and coordinates of the building and the area where the foundation would be built.
However, when the construction was completed, this building was arbitrarily repaired by the investor, which made the late architect Ta Xuan Van cry.
"My father cried, and suggested repairing the building design twice" - Mr. Tue said.
I still remember the times I went up to this building to sit and admire Hanoi's bright fireworks at night.
Or there are many days when my father took me to Hoan Kiem Lake, my father and I sat watching the streets and ate a delicious bowl of pho stall right next to Ham Basil" - Mr. Tue recounted.
Later, when he got married, Mr. Tue took his children to Hoan Kiem Lake to play, eat pho and watch Hoan Kiem Lake.

Until now, the pho stall where Mr. Tue is selling is no longer there, and Ham Shark is about to " say goodbye". The building has completed its work. Change is inevitable in the process of urban development.
According to Mr. Tue, in addition to the Shark Noodle Building, his father - Architect Ta Xuan Van also designed many other projects such as: Headquarters of the Voice of Vietnam, Headquarters of the Institute of Mathematics, Headquarters of the Institute of Chemistry, Headquarters of the Central Institute of Psychology...
