At the Miss Vietnam 2024 admission day at Hue University, hundreds of contestants came to register and listen to the sharing from the contest organizing committee.
Journalist Tran Tuan - representative of the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam 2024 - said that after 37 years of organization, the Miss Vietnam contest will take place in Hue for the first time. Especially in the context of Hue becoming a centrally-governed city, organizing the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025.
"Youth is only once. I believe that with enthusiasm and dynamism, you can completely arrange and plan scientific learning, suitable for participating in extracurricular activities or beauty contests. In addition, the Miss Vietnam Organizing Committee and the school always accompany and create all conditions for you to participate in the contest in the most complete way. Just be confident enough, meet the competition criteria to start this journey, emphasized the representative of the Miss Vietnam 2024 Organizing Committee.
When asked if Miss Vietnam would accept a plastic surgery candidate, the representative of the organizing committee said: Miss Vietnam is perhaps the only beauty pageant that is still steadfast in traditional values, respecting the natural beauty of women.
We do not accept plastic surgery candidates, that is also a unique feature of the competition. It was thought that this would be a barrier in the era of beauty technology, but in reality, there are still many contestants who meet the basic beauty criteria of Miss Vietnam. This proves that natural beauty is always valued.
Sharing at the Miss Vietnam admission ceremony, Dr. Do Thi Xuan Dung - Deputy Director of Hue University - said that Hue is a festival city of Vietnam, a land of culture, with a long history, unique culture with 700 years of Thuan Hoa - Phu Xuan and a land rich in revolutionary traditions.
