At 8:00 p.m. on December 14, at the Quang Tri Province Cultural - Cinema Center (Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province), the opening ceremony of the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Festival in Quang Tri Province took place.
This event is directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, bringing together 16 provinces and cities to participate and taking place from December 14-16.
The Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival in Quang Tri province will include mass art festivals and traditional ethnic costume performances; performances and introductions of festival excerpts and rituals of traditional ethnic cultural activities in the locality; exhibitions and promotion of local traditional culture and exhibitions, processing and introductions of traditional ethnic cuisine.

Activities within the framework of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival in Quang Tri province are organized to honor good traditional cultural values, preserve and promote the cultural identity of Vietnamese ethnic minorities in the unified and diverse culture of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
This is also an opportunity for artisans, actors, athletes, and ethnic minority communities to meet, exchange and share experiences in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities.
