Ninh Binh - In the first days of the new year, a large number of young people flock to Den Tran, Nam Dinh ward to ask for fortune-telling cards and pray for good luck.

Tran Temple in Nam Dinh ward, Ninh Binh province is a place to worship the Tran kings and mandarins who helped the Tran Dynasty, including Quoc Cong Tiet Che Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. The temple was built in 1695, including 3 main architectural works: Thien Truong Temple, Co Trach Temple and Trung Hoa Temple.

In the early days of the year, Ninh Binh weather was favorable, the weather was dry and sunny, so many tourists flocked to Tran Temple to go to worship.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, Den Tran is very crowded with people coming to celebrate Spring to pray for good luck on the first day of the new year. Among them, the area for asking for fortune-telling cards is always crowded. Many young people also sincerely pray before drawing fortunes with the desire for a smoother and luckier new year.

Tran Thu Ha (22 years old, from Hung Yen) shared: "Every year I go to temples with friends at the beginning of the year and ask for fortune-telling cards as a way to remind myself to try harder in the new year.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - Head of the Management Board of Nam Dinh Ward Relic Site - said that right from the 1st day of Tet, the relic site has welcomed a large number of people and tourists to go to worship and sightsee. To serve people coming to enjoy Spring, the temple will open continuously from now until the Seal Opening Festival.

In addition to serving people traveling in spring, the Management Board of Nam Dinh Ward Relic Area also prepares for the Tran Temple Seal Opening Festival Spring Binh Ngo 2026 which will be held from February 27 - March 4 (ie, January 11 - 16 of the lunar calendar).

In which, on the 11th day of the first lunar month (ie February 27th), the Ngoc Lo palanquin procession ceremony will be held; on the 12th day of the first lunar month (ie February 28th), the Water procession and Fish worshiping ceremony will be held at Co Trach Temple; on the 14th day of the first lunar month (ie March 2nd), from 10:15 PM to 10:40 PM, the incense offering ceremony will be held at Thien Truong Temple; from 10:40 PM to 11:10 PM, the seal palanquin procession ceremony will be held from Co Trach Temple to Thien Truong Temple, and from 11:15 PM to 11:15 PM, the seal opening ceremony will be held.

During the Seal Opening Ceremony, the Festival Organizing Committee will close Thien Truong Temple to ensure the solemnity of the traditional ritual.

This year, from 1:50 am on the 15th day of the first lunar month (ie March 3), the seal palanquin festival to Co Trach Temple will be held; from 2 am, seal distribution will be organized for people and pilgrims from all directions at 3 Giai Vu houses, Trung Hoa Temple Exhibition House.

On the 16th day of the first lunar month (ie March 4), the Thuong Nguyen ceremony and ancestral worship ceremony of the Tran Dynasty are organized.
