On August 8, the press conference for the special art program "Ơn nghĩa sinh thành 2024" took place at the Hòa Bình Hotel (Hanoi). The program was jointly implemented by Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper, Oscar Media Advertising and Communication Joint Stock Company, and Hanoi Radio and Television Station.
Becoming an annual "meeting point," after many seasons of organization, the organizing committee confirmed that "Ơn nghĩa sinh thành" is a meaningful activity that cannot be missed on Vu Lan occasions.
Speaking at the press conference, journalist Nguyễn Mạnh Hưng - Editor-in-Chief of Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized: "Family - the sacred cradle that brings us to life, is a peaceful haven after each turmoil of life. It is there that two people always care for, take care of, love, and worry about us unconditionally. That is our parents."
The "Ơn nghĩa sinh thành" program was evaluated as having a large-scale organization and elaborate setup, with the participation of many famous artists, promising to be a moving and profound artistic night in a dignified and elegant space with songs and stories praising the gratitude of birth and upbringing, and reminding us of the virtues of filial piety to express our feelings and gratitude as the younger generation."
"On the fixed background of the program's structure, every year the Organizing Committee brings new and attractive elements to attract the audience while increasing the weight and effectiveness of spreading filial piety, gratitude, and human kindness to the entire society," journalist Nguyễn Mạnh Hưng said.
Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hưng also mentioned that, within the framework of the program, Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper has implemented many activities of gratitude and repaying kindness such as offering incense to commemorate Hero Lý Tự Trọng and other heroic martyrs, giving gifts to families with meritorious services in Hà Tĩnh, Quảng Bình, and Quảng Trị provinces... Especially, the delegation also visited and gave gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in various provinces in central Vietnam.
“Ơn nghĩa sinh thành 2024" promises to bring the audience back to the core values in each person's heart, with overflowing gratitude for values that seem simple but are incredibly great, reviving the years of childhood being cradled in the arms of grandparents, parents, and nostalgic memories of warm and cozy moments with the family, so as to appreciate the present moments even more.
According to General Director Mai Thanh Tùng, this is the program with the most elaborate and grand investment in setup and organization to date. With the participation of famous singers, artists, dance troupes, and young children, as well as songs about family love, the program aims to preserve human values in the tradition of the Vietnamese people: "Drink water and remember the source," "Eat fruit and remember the person who planted the tree," and "Ơn nghĩa sinh thành 2024" promises to continue being a moving and profound artistic night in a dignified and elegant space.
The "Ơn nghĩa sinh thành 2024" art program is expected to last 120 minutes, consisting of 3 clear chapters, each bringing unique content and meaning to the audience.
Chapter 1 is the "A Lifetime of Hardship" scene and the song "The Road Home"; Chapter 2, with the theme "Gratitude for Birth and Upbringing," is a documentary about visiting and showing gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, the elderly without a place to rely on, visiting martyrs' cemeteries, and giving gifts to policy families; Chapter 3 is the artistic program with 3 chapters "The Past I Loved," "Father's Virtue and Mother's Virtue," and "A Prayer."
This year, the interaction with the group of young people who restore hundreds of portraits of martyrs and the group of young people who collect every little thing to bring "0-dong warmth" to the homeless in Hanoi is a special highlight.
There are still many complexities and worries in life, and each person only needs to take small actions and think small, and it will create great strength, unity, and a significant impact because we are working together "to live is to give, not to receive alone."
The audience will enjoy the performances through the voices of Hồ Quỳnh Hương, Lưu Hương Giang, Minh Quân, Randy, Ái Phương, Quách Mai Thy, Tuấn Ngọc, Ngọc Khánh Chi, Lê Anh, Lê Trang, Thái Sơn, and the Chuông Gió group…
