The MV "Today's Country" is composed by musician Nguyen Thanh Trung, arranged by musician Duong Duc Thuy, performed by People's Artist Quoc Hung and singer Thu Hang with the participation of the Vietnam National Academy of Music Choir, under the image staging hand of director Anh Quan.
Not just a music video, "Today's Country" with a length of more than 8 minutes is a journey of formation, struggle, construction and towards the future of the country in contemporary life.
Released right on the occasion of the 14th Party Congress, the MV "Today's Country" is built as a solemn artwork, combining music, voice and image according to epic thinking, aiming to evoke national pride and civic responsibility with deep emotions.
The epic poem "Today's Country" consists of 6 chapters, each chapter playing a separate role in the ideological process. From the sacred origin space, through the challenges of history, to the image of the country rising to develop, integrate and look towards the future, the work creates a continuous and purposeful flow.
People's Artist Quoc Hung said that his acceptance to perform the song "Country Today" first came from the trust and long-term professional commitment with musician Nguyen Thanh Trung. Previously, he had accompanied and produced 3 music albums for Nguyen Thanh Trung, all of which achieved positive artistic effects.

According to People's Artist Quoc Hung, the big difference of "Today's Country" compared to many political and epic works he has shown lies in structural thinking and musical language. The original manuscript of the work is more than 15 minutes long, with many ideas and materials.
NSND Quoc Hung's duet with his student, Sao Mai singer - Thu Hang, is considered a special highlight of the work. "Thu Hang is a well-trained voice, with solid technique, good classic breath. When singing together, the two teachers and students are not distorted but quite harmonious" - NSND Quoc Hung commented.
Speaking more about the emotions when performing "The Country Today", People's Artist Quoc Hung said that the song is like a historical flow recounted with music. "When singing, I clearly feel the journey of the country, from when it was formed with blood and tears, through the years of fathers and grandfathers bravely resisting foreign invaders, to the period of renovation, construction and study to rise strongly like today".
The MV's release right on the occasion of celebrating the 14th National Party Congress makes that feeling even more complete. "I see this as a very beautiful meeting between music and the times, where the voice is placed in the great context of the nation, as a gratitude to the past and sending faith in the future of the country" - People's Artist Quoc Hung emphasized.

Musician Nguyen Thanh Trung added that what he is most satisfied with when writing "Today's Country" is the depiction of "Vietnamese national character", a character formed from the rice civilization, from the symbiotic relationship between people with the land, country and community.
From the essence, qualities arise throughout the nation's history, which are diligence, patience, endurance, adaptation and belief in long-term accumulation, in the spirit of "we" rather than personal "ego". These values are concretized by the musician into each chapter, each line of melody, with the consciousness of maximum moderation.
I do not push the work up with volume or slogans. Each chapter must have a reason to exist, have a clear function in the overall common emotion" - People's Artist Quoc Hung emphasized.
