VTV Countdown 2026, implemented by the Arts Department - Vietnam Television, has become a large-scale cultural and artistic rendezvous in the moment of transition from the old year to the new year.

Journalist Dang Diem Quynh - Deputy Head of the Arts Department, Vietnam Television shared that, "2025 is a special year, when the country faces many modern challenges. In those difficult times, we see more clearly the value of solidarity, social trust and national spiritual strength - the factors that create Vietnamese bravery in today's development flow.
According to journalist Dang Diem Quynh, VTV Countdown 2026 is not only a New Year's program, but also an space to spread positive values, adding spiritual energy to society, especially the young generation, before a new year with many expectations.
Unlike purely entertainment programs, this special music festival is built according to a continuous emotional structure instead of dividing into separate stages of time. Each musical performance, each short report is placed in a unified whole, creating a natural flow from looking back – contemplating – spreading inspiration – towards the future.

The reports are made in many localities at home and abroad, vividly reflecting social life, outstanding achievements and inspiring stories of Vietnamese people in the past year. Thanks to that, Countdown becomes a richly humanistic and current affairs summary of the contemporary Vietnamese spirit.
VTV Countdown 2026 gathers a cast of famous artists, representing many generations and musical colors of Vietnam, including: People's Artist Quang Tho, Tung Duong, Truc Nhan, Duc Phuc, Hoang Hai, Strong Trong Hieu, Duong Hoang Yen, Anh Tu, Ha Le, Trang Phap, Lam Bao Ngoc, DTap, Double2T...
The program stage is designed in the spirit of open space, applying multi-layer LED systems, moving lights and geometric structures inspired by technology, creating a synchronous, modern and close visual experience for many audience groups.
