As a country with most of its area of low mountains and deserts located in the lowest reaches of the Arabian Peninsula, Yemen is rich in natural resources but is rich in culture, history and natural landscapes. Also an Islamic country but due to its tradition of independence, Yemen's society is completely different from neighboring countries.
Yemen is divided into three different regions: Coastal plains, mountainous areas and deserts. The majority of Yemenis are Arabs and follow Islam. To the west is the coastal plain, the climate is hot, so the skin of the people here is darker and the houses are covered with straw.
Behind this plateau are mountain and plateau ranges, the province dominated by the Yemen tribe. These tribes extend to the border with Arabie Saoudite to the north and the Gulf of Aden to the south. The capital Sanaa is located in a small plain between these mountain ranges.
Located at an altitude of more than 2,300m above sea level, Sanaa is the largest city in the West Asia - Yemen country, the center of the Sanaa region, and is one of the cities with the oldest continuously inhabited in the world.
Recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage, the buildings in the city are built in a unique architectural style, decorated with decorativeamential motifs, standing out on the red wall, becoming a magical painting under the sunset.
Like other Islamic countries, Yemen is also a land of men. The women here almost only spend time together, so in the end they only speak a language that is very difficult for outsiders to understand.
They only let men close to them see their faces, not go to work, not drive. The majority of women here wear black from head to toe, leaving just a small gap open showing their black eyes.
