Granting funding to support the construction of Trade Union Shelter houses in Son La

    Son La - On September 22, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the acceptance and handover of funds to support the construction of "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union members in housing difficulties.

    The two-story house of union member Nguyen Manh Truong, grassroots trade union of Son La Provincial General Hospital in group 5, To Hieu ward, with a total cost of 800 million VND, completed after 135 days of construction.

    In which, the family contributed 200 million VND, the Son La Trade Union Union member and employee Support Fund supported 50 million VND; the rest was borrowed by the family from relatives and colleagues.

    Receiving housing construction support funds, Mr. Nguyen Manh Truong expressed his emotion and thanked the Trade Union organization for their concern. The support helps the family reduce difficulties, have more conditions to stabilize accommodation and take care of their children.

    Ms. Thai Thi Mai - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation congratulated the family on having a new spacious and safe house; and at the same time wished union members to continue to strive, overcome difficulties, and build a stable life.

    According to Ms. Thai Thi Mai, each "Trade Union Home" completed not only helps union members have stable accommodation but also shows the companionship and sharing of the Trade Union organization with workers.
