Net Zero - Reducing greenhouse gas emissions to respond to climate change

At the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), Vietnam made a commitment to strive for net zero emissions by 2050. This demonstrates Vietnam's efforts and responsibility to join the international community in reducing greenhouse gas emissions to respond to climate change. That is why Lao Dong Newspaper organized an online discussion with the theme: "Net Zero - Reducing greenhouse gas emissions to respond to climate change".
In Dong Nai City, the emulation movement for good labor and creative labor in the business sector has created more than half a million ideas and initiatives... making a profit of over 1,000 billion VND.
On the eve of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, Thanh Hoa Trade Union delegates expressed their expectations for innovating the emulation movement, improving productivity and income for workers.
On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union organized a ceremony to attach plaques and award support for 2 Trade Union Warm Houses (MÂCĐ) to union member Si Tuan An - Ngu Lac Electricity and union member Cao Thai Nhat - Tra Cu Electricity belonging to Vinh Long Electricity Company Trade Union. Each MÂCĐ, union members are supported with 60 million VND, with a total budget of 120 million VND.
After the administrative boundary merger, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation quickly created many imprints in the work of caring for and protecting workers (NLĐ). Towards the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation - affirmed: "All efforts to streamline the organization ultimately aim to serve union members better, bringing more practical benefits to workers".
One of the biggest imprints of the Trade Union in the past term is the increasingly practical care and protection of the rights and interests of union members and workers.

Thủ tướng Chính phủ Phạm Minh Chính đề nghị mỗi quốc gia phải có trách nhiệm quản lý, thực hiện hiệu quả, khai thác tối đa sức mạnh nội sinh của dân tộc, kết hợp với đoàn kết và hợp tác quốc tế, trong đó nội lực là cơ bản, chiến lược, lâu dài và quyết định; hợp tác, đoàn kết quốc tế là quan trọng.
