On the morning of April 1, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance held a ceremony to hand over the decision approving the investment policy and investor for the veston Textile - Garment Center Project.
The project is implemented in Ea dar Industrial Cluster, Ea Kar district, with an area of 9.4 hectares and a total investment of 360 billion VND.
The investor is Lien Phuong Highland Textile Joint Stock Company. The project aims to produce vests under a closed line, including the production of Sheep wool fabric but without the fabric dyeing stage.
The project's operation period is 50 years from the date of issuance of the land lease decision, with an implementation progress of 66 months from the date of issuance of the investment approval decision. After coming into operation, the project is expected to create jobs for more than 6,000 workers.
Permanent Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha - emphasized: "The province is making efforts to attract private enterprises to invest in the locality. The veston Textile - Garment Center Project is the only closed project in Southeast Asia, from producing Sheep wool fabric to exporting veston sewing".
He also requested departments, branches and localities to create favorable conditions for investors to implement projects, and affirmed that the province will always accompany businesses to promote cooperation and development.
