SHD successfully cooperates with German states

From November 21-22, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen - General Director of SHD Corp Joint Stock Company and Ms. Pham Thi Hong Tam - Deputy General Director of Business and Foreign Affairs, together with Ms. To Thi Thu Hong - Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (LDTB-XH) of Tra Vinh province, had a business trip to Saarland, Federal Republic of Germany.

The delegation had a meeting and worked with the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Women and Health of Saarland State. The delegation was honored to receive a warm welcome from Ms. Bettina Altesleben - State Secretary and senior officials of the Ministry.

During the meeting, the two sides openly discussed policies to support Vietnamese people in vocational training and permanent settlement in the state. The Saarland state government is particularly interested in creating conditions for young Vietnamese workers to integrate and develop, thereby not only contributing to solving the local labor shortage but also building a stable and sustainable workforce for the future.

On November 25, 2024, the signing ceremony of the tripartite cooperation agreement between SHD, Landkreis Harz (Harz region, Sachsen-Anhalt state) and the International Cooperation Organization IB took place. The project is committed to providing high-quality training programs for Vietnamese students, ensuring comprehensive support from administrative procedures, accommodation, to employment after graduation.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen - General Director of SHD Corp Joint Stock Company shared: “Cooperation with Landkreis Harz and Saarland State is an important step in SHD's international development journey. We are committed to accompanying students and partners, bringing sustainable values ​​to all parties”.

Mr. Thomas Balcerowski - Mayor of the Harz region also emphasized the impact of strategic cooperation on solving the labor shortage in Germany: "Motivation-driven students are the solid foundation for a strong economy. We are looking for high-quality young human resources for businesses in the region and are honored to accompany SHD - an experienced partner in this project".

Opening up new opportunities for young Vietnamese human resources

The cooperation program between SHD and the state of Saarland, Harz region offers students the opportunity to learn from large enterprises and leading vocational schools. Students are not only trained in theory but also participate in practice at real facilities, ensuring the quality of output.

Cooperation with the Saarland Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Saarland) helps students have the opportunity to access suitable jobs immediately after graduation, from medical, engineering to hotel and restaurant sectors, with direct support from businesses throughout their studies and work in Germany.

SHD students not only learn a trade but also have the opportunity to settle permanently in Germany thanks to the support of the Saarland and Harz governments. Visa policies and permanent residence cards help students build a stable life in Germany, develop their careers and sponsor their relatives to settle down. This opens up opportunities for sustainable development and building a future for students and their families.

The Saarland State and the Harz Region in Germany stand out for their clear and transparent foreign human resource support policies. This cooperation program is not only a short-term solution, but also marks an important step forward in the bilateral relationship, laying the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership, affirming SHD's vision and mission in connecting, developing and creating sustainable values ​​between Vietnam and Germany.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen, General Director of SHD emphasized that the company always receives trust and comprehensive support from the German government. Especially the German side's support for its students in handling administrative procedures, accommodation and other requirements during their study in Germany.

Since its establishment in 2018, SHD has always been a pioneer in connecting cooperative relationships between the governments of the Mekong Delta provinces (Vietnam) and the governments of the states and cities of Germany.

In Tra Vinh, SHD’s program is considered a typical model in solving employment for young people. In Soc Trang, SHD has helped hundreds of young people access career opportunities in Germany, thereby promoting economic development and reducing unemployment rates in the locality. With active support from SHD and its partners in Germany, all trainees have overcome initial challenges and difficulties and successfully integrated into Germany.
