On the morning of September 19, the Can Tho City Employment Service Center coordinated with other units to organize an online job fair for the Mekong Delta, Southeast region and neighboring provinces and cities. The activity aims to support businesses in promptly meeting their human resource needs.
Accordingly, at the Session, there were 281 businesses participating in recruitment with 32,266 vacant positions. Particularly at the Can Tho City Public Service Center, there were 36 businesses participating in recruitment with 4,283 positions requiring human resources.
The occupations that are recruiting workers at the session are diverse and rich such as: factory workers, health and safety staff, IT staff, office staff, HR staff, general laborers, QC staff, maintenance staff, forklift drivers, machine operators, electrical engineers, accountants, marketing staff, medical staff, engineers, tellers, sewing workers, department heads to director positions...
Talking to Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan - Director of the Employment Service Center (DVVL) of Can Tho City - said that coming to the Regional Online Job Fair, workers have the opportunity to learn about career opportunities and jobs domestically and internationally; introduce suitable candidates for employers to interview directly or online at the Fair.
"When workers come to participate directly at the Can Tho Center, they will also be consulted on job search skills, application skills, CV writing, image building skills in front of employers, interview skills; advice and introduction of jobs at home and abroad; and participate in a sharing session on things to keep in mind when interviewing with employers" - Mr. Toan said.
