On August 5, Hanoi City Police said that the Fire and Rescue Police force promptly rescued and rescued 3 people in 2 incidents in the city that occurred on the evening of August 4.
Timely rescue of 1 workplace accident victim
At 6:52 PM on August 4th, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report from people about someone being in an accident and trapped at a construction material gathering area in Phu Ma village, Soc Son commune, Hanoi city.
Immediately after receiving the news, the City Police Command Information Center mobilized the Fire and Rescue Team of Area No. 22 to dispatch 2 fire trucks and 1 rescue vehicle and 15 officers and soldiers to the scene to organize rescue.
As soon as they arrived at the scene, the Rescue and Rescue Command directed officers and soldiers to quickly deploy formations to approach and rescue victims.
After an urgent time and efforts to deploy rescue plans, at about 8:05 pm on the same day, the Fire and Rescue Police force safely took the victim out of the dangerous area.
Through initial first aid, the victim suffered injuries to his left leg and left shoulder. The Fire and Rescue Police force handed over the victim to the medical force to take him to the nearest medical facility for monitoring and treatment.
Successfully rescued 2 people trapped in the elevator
At about 11:47 PM on August 4th, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report from residents about an elevator incident on the 15th floor of Mulberry Lane apartment building, Dai Mo ward, Hanoi city, causing 2 people to be trapped inside.
Upon receiving the news, the Command Information Center mobilized forces and vehicles of the Fire and Rescue Team of area No. 4 and area No. 13 - Fire and Rescue Police Department to quickly arrive at the scene, coordinating with the Building Management Board to organize the rescue of trapped people.
At the scene, functional forces determined that the elevator was stopping operating, with 2 people trapped inside.
The Fire and Rescue Police force reassured and guided the victims to remain calm and not panic; and at the same time deployed technical measures to bring the elevator back to the correct floor position and used measures to open the elevator door and create escape routes.
After about 10 minutes of deployment, functional forces brought 2 people trapped inside the elevator out safely. The health of the 2 victims is stable.
The initial preliminary cause was determined to be a technical error of the elevator.
With a spirit of urgency and responsibility, the Fire and Rescue Police force - Hanoi City Police promptly approached the scene, organized rescue and relief, minimizing damage to people and property.
