On June 22, leaders of Tan An ward (Dak Lak province) confirmed that functional forces had just promptly rescued a man who fell into a deep well safely at night.
Previously, on the evening of June 21, Tan An Ward Police received a report from Ms. T (77 years old, residing in Tan An ward) about her son, Mr. L.V. V (36 years old) showing abnormal signs. Relatives discovered Mr. V locked the door inside the house, called many times but received no response.
Immediately after that, Tan An Ward Police were present at the scene, breaking down the door to check. However, there was no one inside the house. Continuing to organize the search, functional forces discovered that the well lid in the house was open and Mr. V was lying at the bottom of the well.
Recognizing the dangerous situation, functional forces deployed a rescue plan.
Through inspection, rescue forces determined that the well was about 30m deep, the space was cramped, and there was a potential risk of oxygen deficiency, so they quickly deployed safety measures and brought oxygen tanks down to support the victim.
After more than 30 minutes of effort, functional forces brought the victim to the surface safely.
Mr. V was then taken to the hospital for examination and health monitoring. The cause of the incident is being further verified and clarified by functional agencies.
