Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam - Chief of Office of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee said that the total state budget revenue by October reached nearly 5,560 billion VND, an increase of 29% over the same period last year, reaching more than 91% of the central and local estimates. Accumulated investment capital payment by October was nearly 3,160 billion VND, reaching 53.3% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister, reaching 49.3% of the plan implemented by the province, higher than the national average (47.2%).
The total number of tourists in the province is estimated at more than 4.54 million, up 15.6% over the same period last year. It is estimated that in 2024, the province will welcome 5.2 million visitors, up 15.3% over 2023, reaching 104% of the annual plan.
The Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to organize the New Year 2025 program to promote and advertise the province's tourist attractions and new tourism products and services that adapt to the weather.
Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Vice Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Tan said that at the end of the year, the province will focus on activities to welcome the New Year.
The locality will hold the countdown program to welcome the new year 2025 in Phong Nha town, Bo Trach district, from 8:00 p.m. on December 31, 2024 to 2:00 a.m. on January 1, 2025.
This year, Quang Binh province is expected to organize fireworks displays at two locations, Phong Nha town and Bao Ninh 1 urban area, on New Year's Eve.
