On August 23, a representative of Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company said that they had just rewarded 2 experienced and brave crossing guards when handling the situation where people riding motorbikes hit the blocker while the train was preparing to arrive.
Accordingly, at 9:28 p.m. on August 22, at the Km1649+528 level crossing, along the Long Khanh road, the Long Khanh railway team (Dong Nai province), after the barrier was closed and preparing to pick up the SE4 train to pass through the level crossing, suddenly a young man riding a motorbike with license plate 52F1-2xxx crashed straight into the No. 1 level crossing, causing the barrier to break and block the railway.
Fortunately, two staff at the Km1649+528 barrier, Tran Thi Thuy and Vu Thi Dien, were quick-witted and brave, and with the help of the people, they handled the situation promptly, avoiding the unfortunate accident that could have occurred.
The case is currently being handled by the unit in coordination with Long Khanh Ward Police.
