On August 23, at Lung Than tea growing area, Lung Cut village, Chi Lang tea traditional market and Chi Lang tea historical relic site, a livestream session was held to sell tea. Participating as the main character introducing and selling fruit is Mr. Vi Thien Viet, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Chi Lang Commune People's Committee with the support of TikToker "Ms. Hen".
After less than 1 hour of livestreaming, more than 5 tons of the fruit were "closed", a number that made the people unable to hide their joy.

Mr. Vi Thien Viet, Chairman of Chi Lang Commune People's Committee, shared: "We want to bring Chi Lang na fruit directly to consumers, so that not only Lang Son people but also the whole country know the sweet taste of this specialty fruit. This is a new approach, but we believe it will open up a sustainable direction for farmers.
Sharing about the reason for inviting TikToker "Ms. Hen" to promote Na and OCOP products in the commune, the leader of Chi Lang commune shared that the image of this TikToker is associated with livestreams to promote local agricultural products.
In Lung Cut village, the joy of the people is evident on every face.

Ms. Lanh Thanh Huyen excitedly said: "About a week now, we have started harvesting, the selling price at the beginning of the season is from 40,000-70,000 VND/kg, higher than last year. For the large grapefruit, 3 fruits/kg, it is sold for 90,000-100,000 VND/kg. The quality this year is very good, the price is also high, so everyone is excited. I believe my income will increase by one and a half times compared to last year.
Many farming households have also begun to boldly put their products on e-commerce platforms, combined with traders purchasing at the garden. The standard apricots were purchased by customers from far away right at the time of broadcasting, creating more confidence that their hometown's agricultural products can reach far thanks to digital technology.

According to statistics, this year's crop in Chi Lang commune has about 1,400 hectares, with a yield of 8-9 tons/ha and an output of nearly 13,000 tons. The commune government has also encouraged people to produce according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards to ensure safety and enhance brand value.
Mr. Vi Thien Viet said that in the near future, the commune will build a specialized team to maintain the livestream model, as a bridge between farmers and the market.
"This is not only a story of selling through social networks, but a necessary step to enhance the competitiveness of Na Chi Lang, helping people get rich right in their homeland", he affirmed.

The excitement from the first livestream session spread throughout the villages and hamlets. People believe that, with the support of the government and new approaches, Chi Lang cucumber will increasingly reach out, not only domestically but also towards export.
In particular, that hope shines right in the middle of the ripe harvest season, each sweet and healthy fruit now carries a new mission, becoming a symbol of change, creativity and strong companionship between the government and people of the mountainous areas.
