On the afternoon of May 26, leaders of Anh Dung Commune Police, Khanh Hoa province informed that the unit is coordinating with local functional forces to urgently support people to overcome the consequences of heavy rain accompanied by tornadoes that damaged many houses.
Previously, in the late afternoon of May 25, heavy rain accompanied by tornadoes appeared in Anh Dung commune. Preliminary statistics show that 20 households in the area had their roofs blown off and property damaged, with no injuries.
In which, most households had partial corrugated iron roofs blown off, some cases had completely damaged roofs. Although it did not cause casualties, natural disasters directly affected the property and lives of local people.

Immediately after the tornado passed, Anh Dung Commune Police quickly coordinated with functional units to be present at the scene to support people to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.
The forces have helped people move property to safe places, clear fallen green trees, temporarily reinforce damaged roofs, and at the same time ensure security and order in the area to minimize damage.
Leaders of Anh Dung Commune People's Committee said that by the afternoon of May 26, the locality continued to mobilize forces to support people to repair houses and stabilize their lives.
In parallel with that, functional units are conducting reviews and statistics of damage levels to implement support policies according to regulations.
Representatives of local authorities highly appreciated the spirit of responsibility and timeliness of the commune police force and related units in supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
