The new Mien Dong Bus Station is forecast to welcome 65,700 passengers.
According to the passenger service plan for the National Day holiday September 2nd, the new Mien Dong Bus Station (Long Binh ward) is expected to welcome 65,700 passengers in 6 days, from August 28th to September 2nd, an increase of about 10% compared to the same period in 2025.
The majority of passengers are concentrated on short routes, from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City. The peak day is forecast to be August 29, with about 16,000 passengers passing through the station.
Leaders of the new Mien Dong Bus Station said that the station will regularly monitor passenger and vehicle traffic on each route to proactively adjust and focus vehicles to serve key routes, limiting congestion and passenger congestion.
In case the number of passengers increases sharply, exceeding the transport capacity of transport units, the station will coordinate to mobilize maximum increased vehicles, including vehicles granted fixed route badges and passenger transport vehicles under contracts.
Regarding ticket prices, transport units are allowed to adjust fares for 3 days, from August 28 to the end of August 30, 2026. Accordingly, routes from Da Nang to Dong Nai, the Mekong Delta region, the Central Highlands and inter-provincial routes of Ho Chi Minh City are adjusted to increase by no more than 40% compared to normal days.
For routes from Hue to the northern provinces, fares will not be adjusted to increase.
Old Mien Dong Bus Station is expected to welcome 70,850 passengers
At the old Mien Dong Bus Station (Binh Thanh ward), after most routes were relocated to the new Mien Dong Bus Station, the station currently serves some routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai after the merger.

During this year's holiday, from August 28 to September 2, the station is expected to serve 70,850 passengers, an increase of 8.6% compared to the same period in 2025.
The two peak days are forecast to be 28 and 29/8, with about 19,000 visitors per day.
Similar to the new Mien Dong Bus Station, ticket prices at the old Mien Dong Bus Station are allowed to be adjusted to increase by no more than 40% compared to normal days, applied for 3 days from August 28 to August 30.
Mien Tay Bus Station forecasts 70,000 passengers on peak days
At Mien Tay Bus Station (An Lac ward), the total number of passengers passing through the station in the period from August 28 to September 2 is expected to reach 278,700, an increase of about 1% compared to the same period in 2025.
The peak day is forecast to be August 29, with the number of passengers departing from the station possibly reaching 70,000 passengers/day.

Regarding ticket prices, routes to provinces in the Mekong Delta region are allowed to adjust upwards by no more than 40% compared to normal day ticket prices, for a period of 2 days.
For routes to the Central Highlands, Central and Northern regions, the ticket price adjustment and application time are implemented according to the holiday service plan of the new Mien Dong Bus Station and the old Mien Dong Bus Station.
To serve the increased number of passengers, Mien Tay Bus Station said it will arrange trips, mobilize vehicles according to the registered charts of transport units; regularly monitor passenger traffic on each route to promptly increase vehicles when necessary.
In case of high demand, the station will mobilize vehicles operating on the route, contract passenger transport vehicles and tourist vehicles to relieve passengers.
