3 people in Kon Tum suffered severe burns due to gas tank explosion

Kon Tum – Relatives of the patients reported that the three people suffered severe burns due to a gas tank explosion.

On December 31, information from Kon Tum Provincial General Hospital said that the unit had just received and treated 3 patients with multiple injuries and severe burns.

The patients include: Nguyen Ngoc Diep (32 years old), Nguyen Van Quyet (30 years old), Tran Van Thanh (27 years old), all residing in village 3, Tan Lap commune, Kon Ray district.

According to doctors, at the time of admission, the patients suffered multiple injuries, severe burns and body corrosion. Patient Nguyen Ngoc Diep was admitted to the hospital with no blood pressure.

Doctors treated the wounds, transfused blood, took them to the operating room to debride and clean the wounds. Currently, the two patients, Quyet and Thanh, have been transferred to Cho Ray Hospital. Patient Diep is on a ventilator and has a very serious prognosis.

According to the patient’s family, the accident was caused by a gas tank explosion. The incident is currently being investigated and clarified by the Kon Ray district authorities.
