On the afternoon of September 15, authorized by the Ministry of National Defense, the Border Guard Command, and the Party Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command, announced and presented early retirement decisions according to Decree 178, raising salaries and promoting military ranks to 30 officers.
The Ministry of National Defense has decided to retire early and promote the rank of colonel to 12 officers; retire early, increase the salary of a second colonel for 1 officer; retire early for 6 officers; promote the rank of colonel for 9 officers; retire 1 officer and the Border Guard Command decided to retire early for 1 officer.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Dinh Xuan Hung - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard emphasized that these are key officers who have made many contributions to the work of building forces and managing and protecting the border.
Colonel Dinh Xuan Hung hopes that after retirement, his comrades will continue to care, accompany, and pass on valuable experiences so that the next generation can learn and promote them, contributing to building a strong Border Guard force, maintaining sovereignty and national border security.
