From the morning of September 9, Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh was on duty and directed the rescue work. Mr. Anh requested the forces participating in the rescue to ensure the safety of people's lives and property, support people at risk of landslides; quickly and promptly clear the route, approach the scene, actively treat the injured, and search for the missing.
Recommend that the authorities notify and warn of dangerous locations; be more determined in informing about the risk of landslides continuing to occur, and limit people and vehicles from participating in traffic when not necessary. At the same time, notify people of areas at risk of landslides so that they can move and evacuate to a safe place.
The Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee also directed Nguyen Binh district to choose a location to establish a Command Center (with Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach as Commander-in-Chief) to directly carry out search and rescue operations.
