45 bus routes operate on Hanoi Ring Road 1

According to the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center, there are currently 45 bus routes operating on Ring Road 1.

Of which, there are 11 electric and bus routes using compressed natural gas (CNG), with a total of 126 clean energy buses. These routes serve nearly 6,500 vehicles per day, with a frequency of 5 to 20 minutes/trip.

Of the 45 bus routes mentioned above, there are 11 routes which are electric buses and CNG buses, specifically including: 7 electric bus routes (E02, E05, E07, E08, E09, 34,400 and 4 CNG routes (159, 142, 143, 144), with a total of 126 electric buses.

The Hanoi People's Committee said that it will open more small electric bus routes suitable for small alley infrastructure and small streets in the Ring Road 1 area. At the same time, the city will adjust the existing bus network and combine the implementation of 4-wheel electric vehicles for passengers in the low-emission pilot area.
