As of 10:00 a.m. on July 22, Ninh Binh province has recorded many damages in the agricultural sector due to the impact of storm No. 3 (Wipha).
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ninh Binh province, up to now, the whole province has planted and sown 110,620 hectares of rice; in the old Ha Nam area, the entire area of rice has been planted and the focus has been shifted to care. growing summer vegetables will yield 12,350 hectares.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3, from the afternoon of July 21, the province began to have rain, many places had heavy rain over 200mm (Van Ly station 274mm; Nhu Tran 237.9mm; Truc Phuong 236mm; Phu Le 298mm; Tam Diep 242.8mm...) causing many newly planted and sown rice areas to be deeply submerged in water.
The whole province has about 74,017 hectares of rice fields affected by storm No. 3, of which the area of white flooding is 65,489 hectares.


In the province, there was 1 landslide and rockfall due to storms and floods in the Bai Giai Cave area (road to Thung Nham eco-tourism area, Nam Hoa Lu ward), with no human casualties. The forest rangers, forest management boards and localities have promptly cordoned off the area and set up fences to warn of dangerous areas.
