Creating a warm atmosphere for construction workers during Tet
According to the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), for the main packages being implemented at the Long Thanh airport project site in Dong Nai province, ACV has directed construction units to speed up the construction progress of the packages. Hundreds of construction teams have been organized at the site with nearly 7,000 experts, engineers, workers, and laborers and nearly 3,000 construction equipment. At the same time, the construction site has been organized scientifically, professionally, and orderly, ensuring security and safety during the construction process.
Speaking with Lao Dong reporters, a representative of the Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board said that according to the project's progress, in the coming time, the construction site will continue to increase the construction force, taking advantage of favorable dry season weather to speed up and urgently carry out construction.
According to schedule, in 2025, the Project Management Board is determined to basically complete the construction work of the Long Thanh airport project phase 1.
Therefore, ACV requires that the construction site maintain over 70% of construction workers during the Lunar New Year 2025.
In addition to working during holidays, contractors also work at night at the construction site.
Mr. Duong Quang Dien - Permanent Deputy Director of Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board said: The Lunar New Year is a traditional holiday, so the Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board will visit, encourage and give gifts to officers, workers and laborers working at the construction site.
At the same time, ACV also requires contractors to plan construction throughout Tet, ensuring the best construction volume, but also creating a favorable environment for workers to be happy, warm, and feel the care of the units during the project implementation process.
Main packages at Long Thanh airport "racing" ahead of schedule
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan - Deputy Executive Director of the Joint Venture for Package 5.10 to construct the Long Thanh Airport Passenger Terminal said that to ensure the progress of the project, the joint venture has planned to mobilize workers and engineers to work through the 2025 Lunar New Year, maintaining 70% of the workforce throughout the holiday.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Tien - of the Aviation Construction Corporation (ACC) - Commander of the Joint Venture of Package 4.6 for the construction of the Long Thanh Airport runway - said: The Joint Venture of Contractors has come up with a plan, the construction teams will be on duty during Tet and will work through Tet, the manpower, machinery and equipment will be maintained and the construction teams will be divided to ensure that the construction work meets and exceeds the schedule, ensuring security and safety at the construction site. Welfare policies for workers are also guaranteed to be able to work while enjoying a warm Tet holiday at the construction site.
Currently, at the Long Thanh airport project site, the main packages are being accelerated.
Package 5.10 is for construction and installation of equipment for the passenger terminal, which is considered the heart of the Long Thanh airport project, phase 1. To date, this package has completed all underground reinforced concrete work and is currently assembling the steel structure.
Package 4.6, construction of runways, taxiways, and aircraft parking lots, ACV is determined to direct construction units to complete and technically exploit the runways before April 30, 2025.
Package 6.12, construction of the traffic system connecting line 1 and line 2, put into use before September 2, 2025.
