On the afternoon of July 8, at Doc Ba Dac Martyrs' Cemetery (Thoi Son ward), An Giang Provincial People's Committee organized a general rehearsal of the entire program of the Ceremony to pay respects, commemorate and bury the remains of volunteer soldiers and Vietnamese experts. The general rehearsal was attended by leaders of the 515th Provincial Steering Committee, the Provincial Military Command (CHQS), the Provincial Police, the Department of Home Affairs, relevant departments and agencies, and more than 1,200 officers, soldiers, youth union members and service forces.
The general rehearsal was organized to review and unify each content, ensuring that the funeral, memorial service and burial ceremony took place solemnly, in accordance with rituals, safely, showing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", expressing gratitude to the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland and performing noble international duties.
According to the scenario, the forces have fully implemented the contents from stabilizing the formation, ceremonial services, memorials to moving and burying the remains of martyrs in the new tomb area. The Provincial Military Command manages military ceremonies, military flag teams, honor guards, paratroopers, visiting officers, forces carrying remains, carrying incense bowls, carrying offerings and service departments performing in the correct order and movements according to regulations.

At the same time, security and safety assurance plans, traffic diversion, logistics, medical, and information and propaganda work were also inspected and closely coordinated between forces.
Through the general rehearsal, the Organizing Committee assessed that the forces had basically grasped the content, coordinated smoothly, ensured correct rituals, and at the same time continued to draw experience, adjusted some details about the formation, mobility time and coordination between departments so that the official ceremony took place thoughtfully and solemnly.
According to the plan, the memorial service and burial will take place at 7:00 AM on July 9, 2026 at Doc Ba Dac Martyrs' Cemetery with the participation of central leaders, leaders of Military Region 9, leaders of An Giang province and a large number of officers, soldiers and people. This is an activity of profound political and humanistic significance, contributing to educating patriotism, gratitude to generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for national independence and noble international duty.
