On July 6, at Ha Tien International Border Gate, Steering Committee 515 of An Giang province organized a welcome ceremony for Team K92 to complete the task of searching for and repatriating the remains of volunteer soldiers and Vietnamese experts who sacrificed during the wars in the Kingdom of Cambodia, phase XXV (dry season 2025-2026), returning home.
After the welcoming ceremony at the border gate, the delegation moved to the K92 Team's Retreat to organize flower and incense offerings to commemorate heroic martyrs before the official welcoming ceremony took place.

Next, at the barracks of Team K92, Steering Committee 515 of An Giang province solemnly organized a ceremony to welcome Team K92 and Team K93 to complete the task of searching for and repatriating the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed in Cambodia, phase XXV (dry season 2025-2026).
According to the report of the Political Department of the Provincial Military Command, although search conditions are increasingly difficult due to changing terrain, many areas have been filled, and information about martyrs' graves is increasingly scarce, officers and soldiers of the two teams have upheld the spirit of responsibility, proactively overcome difficulties, and closely coordinated with the government, armed forces and people of Cambodia to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
In phase XXV (dry season 2025-2026), the two teams organized searches at 173 locations, excavated and filled more than 130.246 m3 of soil, collected 170 sets of martyrs' remains, including 128 sets in Cambodia, 42 sets in An Giang province, and identified the identity of martyr Dang Van Dung (alias Dung) in Ba Chuc commune.
From 2001 to now, Team K92 and Team K93 have searched and collected 6,871 sets of martyrs' remains, including 4,414 sets of remains in Cambodia (of which 368 sets of remains have been identified) and 2,457 sets of remains in An Giang province (identifying 214 sets of martyrs' remains).

Not only completing professional tasks, during their time on friendly land, officers and soldiers of the two teams also actively carried out mass mobilization, medical examinations, and free medicine distribution to more than 800 Cambodian people, presented 100 gifts worth over 150 million VND; and visited and presented gifts to the government, armed forces and local people where the unit was stationed with a total value of 120 million VND, medical examinations and medicine distribution to 495 people, donated 200kg of dry rations and participated in repairing more than 1km of rural roads, contributing to consolidating Vietnam - Cambodia friendship and solidarity.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc praised the results and achievements that officers and soldiers of Team K92 and Team K93 achieved in the 2025-2026 dry season. Mr. Phuoc affirmed that the work of searching for and repatriating martyrs' remains is not only a particularly important political task but also an order from the heart, expressing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude" of the Vietnamese nation. Mr. Phuoc requested levels and sectors to continue to closely coordinate, promote propaganda and information gathering about martyrs, prepare well for the XXVI phase (dry season 2026-2027) and effectively implement the "500-day and night campaign to promote the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains"; and at the same time pay attention to fully taking care of regimes and policies for task forces, creating conditions for the two teams to continue to excellently complete their assigned tasks.

On this occasion, the Provincial Steering Committee 515 presented flowers and gifts to encourage officers and soldiers of Team K92 and Team K93; and at the same time awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing tasks.
