An Giang - Ferries to Phu Quoc and other islands have temporarily stopped operating to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.

On November 20, Kien Giang Maritime Port Authority (An Giang) said that due to the influence of the northeast monsoon and bad weather, ships and ferries from Rach Gia, Ha Tien to Phu Quoc and vice versa have temporarily suspended operations until further notice.

In addition, the Rach Gia - Nam Du, Ha Tien - Tien Hai and vice versa routes have also temporarily suspended operations. The Rach Gia - Lai Son route and vice versa are still operating normally.

The shipping lines also said that for customers who have booked or paid 100% of the ticket price, if the ship temporarily stops operating due to the weather, they will refund the ticket price that customers have paid or exchanged for the next operating day.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on November 20, the sea area from Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, rough seas.
