Lieutenant Colonel Tran Anh Son - Deputy Head of Long Binh Border Guard Station (An Giang Provincial Border Guard) said: "Ahead of the Party Congress and Lunar New Year, the unit has developed a peak plan to fight against crime. We are increasing forces and vehicles, presiding over and coordinating with the Police and Military of Khanh Binh commune to organize closed-door patrols in the area, especially river routes such as the Hau River and Binh Di River, trails, and border areas.
According to the Deputy Head of Long Binh Border Guard Station, in addition to daytime patrol work, the force also patrols at night to strengthen local management, manage subjects, especially people with criminal records, suspected subjects related to smuggling, gambling, and drugs. The work of receiving and handling crime reports is also maintained 24/24 hours.
Not only focusing on control work, the Border Guard force also promotes legal propaganda for people in border areas, mobilizing people not to facilitate smuggling and illegal entry and exit. “Each citizen is an important ‘soldier’ to help functional forces maintain security and order in border areas,” Lieutenant Colonel Tran Anh Son emphasized.
Creating solid trust in the people
Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Teo - Head of Khanh Binh Commune Police said: "We clearly identify the task of coordinating with the Commune Military Command and the Border Guard Station as a regular responsibility. Before Tet and the Party Congress, the Police force is deployed to be ready for combat, promptly supporting when situations arise.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Teo, in addition to the task of ensuring security and order, the Khanh Binh Commune Police force also coordinated with the commune military force and Long Binh Border Guard Station to launch a movement for the whole people to protect national security in the border area.

According to the Secretary of the Party Committee of Khanh Binh commune, before the 2026 Lunar New Year and the 14th Party Congress, the task of ensuring security and order, maintaining sovereignty and border security poses increasingly high requirements.
