On December 25, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Lang commune, Quang Tri province held a visitation, memorial service and burial ceremony for the remains of a martyr gathered by Team 584, Political Department, Quang Tri Provincial Military Command.
Attending the ceremony were Ms. Le Nguyen Huyen Trang - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Tri province; Lieutenant Colonel Le Quang Thang - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Provincial Military Command; Commander of the Provincial Military Command of Region 4 - Trieu Phong; along with leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Lang commune, officers and soldiers of the armed forces and a large number of local people.
In a solemn atmosphere, delegates offered incense, flowers, took a moment of silence, expressing their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

At the memorial service, the leaders of Hai Lang commune read a commemorative plaque, affirming that the noble sacrifice of the heroic martyrs was a great spiritual foundation, reminding today's generation to continue to unite and strive to build an increasingly beautiful and civilized homeland.
The visitation, memorial service and burial ceremony took place according to the rituals, ensuring solemnity and emotion. After the memorial service, the remains of the martyrs were buried at Hai Thuong Martyrs' Cemetery.
Previously, on December 11, Team 584 discovered and collected the remains of the above martyr in Phu Hung village, Hai Lang commune (old Hai Phu commune), Quang Tri province.
