On the afternoon of September 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province announced that through the launching ceremony, agencies, units and enterprises of the province contributed more than 51 billion VND to support the people of the North who suffered damage caused by storm No. 3.
Earlier, in the morning of the same day, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province held a launching ceremony to call for the joint efforts of cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces; agencies, units, enterprises, collectives, union members, members, dignitaries, officials, monks, followers of religions, prestigious people among ethnic minorities; individuals inside and outside the province to contribute to supporting the people of the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.
Thereby, units, groups and individuals have supported and registered to support our compatriots with a total amount of more than 51 billion VND. In which, many businesses operating in the province supported amounts from 100 million VND to 5 billion VND...
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, the amount of 51 billion VND will be quickly supported for 21 northern provinces that suffered damage at 3 levels, in order to promptly support people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3.
Level 1 supports 26 billion VND to support 6 provinces including: Lao Cai (6 billion VND), Lang Son, Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen provinces (4 billion VND each).
Level 2 supports 20 billion VND for 10 provinces including: Lai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Bac Kan, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho (each province receives 2 billion VND). At level 3, 5 billion VND is supported and divided equally among 5 provinces including: Ninh Binh, Bac Ninh, Nam Dinh, Ha Giang, Ha Nam.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province calls on all people to continue to support and accompany, join hands to support the people of the Northern provinces to soon overcome difficulties and losses caused by storms and floods. The support period is from now until October 10, 2024.
