On September 13, the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City) mobilized all officers and employees of the company to contribute to support the people in the North who suffered losses due to floods.
The announcement on September 11 clearly stated that each officer and employee who agrees to voluntarily contribute 50,000 VND in support will sign the list; the departmental union secretaries will compile and send it to the union office, the support amount will be deducted from the salary in September 2024.
TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company has about 35,000 employees.
The Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, Trang Bom District) also called on all officials and employees of the factory to promote the spirit of "mutual love", "sharing food and clothes" to donate to support people in areas severely damaged by the storm.
Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. has about 18,000 employees.
Dang Tuan Tu, Chairman of the Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Thanh Phu Industrial Park, Vinh Cuu District, also said that the company has urgently sent 1,000 life jackets to support people in Vinh Phuc province - which is suffering heavy damage from storm No. 3.
At the same time, the union is also mobilizing all employees of the company to support people in the northern provinces with a minimum of 50,000 VND/person.
Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. has 3 factories with about 42,000 workers.
Previously, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation deployed a document to mobilize support for flood victims in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).
Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor requests that all levels of unions propagate and mobilize union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the area and management units to promote the tradition of the Vietnamese working class to join hands to share and support people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3, contributing to quickly restoring production and helping people in affected areas to soon stabilize their lives.
The general mobilization level is that each cadre, civil servant, public employee, union member, and worker supports one day's salary/income or more.
