On the morning of April 12, Le Hoa Commune Health Station (Tuyen Hoa District) spoke out to refute information spread on social networks regarding the list of people believed to be infected with HIV in the locality.
According to the representative of the Commune Health Station, on April 7, a " list of newly discovered HIV patients" spread on Facebook groups, causing a stir in public opinion.
Immediately after learning about the incident, the Commune Health Station conducted an inspection and verified that the list of spreads had absolutely no legal value. This document does not have the signature or seal of any competent authority.
Le Hoa Commune Health Station said that this is untrue information, without legal basis and suggested that people be vigilant, not to share or disseminate unverified information, to avoid causing panic in the community.
