According to Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu, in the first quarter of 2025, Bac Lieu province's socio-economic situation will continue to develop and achieve many important results. The fields of aquaculture, fishing, aquaculture; trade - services; export turnover... all increased compared to the same period.
The basic construction work has been directed by all levels and sectors to speed up the implementation progress and promptly handle and remove difficulties and obstacles for investors, especially for key projects. Total social investment capital is estimated at VND 6,265 billion, up nearly 14% over the same period.
In the first quarter, the Provincial People's Committee issued investment policy decisions, investment registration certificates, commitment certificates, and investment interest certificates to 23 investors to implement 26 projects, with a total estimated investment capital of over VND 85,580 billion.
Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu also emphasized that the cultural and social fields have achieved many positive results; social security policies for the subjects have been implemented well and promptly. Especially the work of caring for policy families, poor households, near-poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances... with a total budget of over 18.4 billion VND.
