At the conference, the Standing Committee of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee presented to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for consideration and comments on the draft of 12 projects to arrange and organize the apparatus of the political system of Bac Lieu province to operate effectively and efficiently.
These are the projects: The overall project of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee on streamlining the apparatus of the political system of Bac Lieu province to be streamlined, effective and efficient; The project to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; The project to end the activities of the Party delegations and Party Executive Committees under the Provincial Party Committee; The project to end the activities of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies; The project to establish the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Bac Lieu province; The project to establish the Party Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee; 6 projects of the Provincial People's Committee on rearranging and organizing the apparatus of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, including 5 projects to merge departments and the project to establish the Department of Ethnic Affairs and Religion.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Lu Van Hung emphasized: The arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus for effective and efficient operation this time is a great revolution, implemented synchronously, drastically and urgently from the Central to the grassroots level. This is a particularly important task with the highest political determination, therefore, it is necessary to have unity of perception and action in the entire Provincial Party Committee and the entire political system, creating consensus among the people so that the work of arranging the apparatus of agencies in the province is effective and meets the progress.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested Party committees at all levels, localities, agencies and units to uphold their sense of responsibility, urgently and seriously implement, synchronously and effectively the arrangement of the apparatus according to the projects approved by the Provincial Party Executive Committee. The Provincial Party Organization Committee was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Party Personnel Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to receive comments from the Provincial Party Executive Committee, complete the projects, submit them to the Provincial Party Standing Committee to issue and announce relevant decisions and lead, direct and organize the implementation of the projects in accordance with regulations, ensuring the set progress.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested that the units that have ended their operations and have just merged urgently complete the transfer of relevant files, documents, and assets; continue to organize political and ideological work well in receiving and arranging agency leaders and leaders of affiliated units; arrange headquarters, workplaces, and arrange internal human resources reasonably, ensuring more effective and efficient operations than before. Pay attention to and ensure policies for comrades who quit their jobs at will and retire early.
Officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of newly merged and established agencies, based on their functions, tasks, and powers, should quickly approach new work in a more comprehensive and in-depth manner to fulfill new tasks, roles, and responsibilities in a quality, effective, and smooth manner.
