Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan has just signed Directive No. 03/CT-UBND assigning tasks to departments, branches and localities to rectify the situation of illegal construction on land that is not allowed for construction.
The Directive assigns the People's Committees at the commune level to proactively inspect and prevent illegal construction activities; suspend construction, request to repair and dismantle works immediately upon detection of violations; organize the implementation of forced demolition when necessary and publicize violations on the means of information.
Recently, the press reported the situation of a series of illegally built villas inside the Dai Bai craft village industrial cluster (Gia Binh, Bac Ninh).
Accordingly, Dai Bai Craft Village Industrial Park was established in 2002, with an area of 6.2 hectares managed by Dai Bai Commune People's Committee, with the goal of bringing small-scale production and business households into concentrated production, minimizing environmental pollution.
Dai Bai Craft Village Industrial Park has 75 production households, but there is no centralized wastewater treatment area; no waste treatment area from aluminum and copper recycling casting production activities; no wastewater self-treatment system.
Although not licensed for residential land, right in Dai Bai craft village industrial park, dozens of works similar to houses, villas... have sprung up, breaking the planning of a craft village industrial park.
