The decision clearly states that at 3:00 p.m. on July 7, 2025, through inspection, a slide was discovered on the river side about 65m long, about 6 - 10m wide, the slide was deep into the dike surface.
On the morning of July 8, 2025, the landslide continued, with a 65m long section falling about 3m deep into the middle of the dike, with a height difference of about 12 - 15m from the top of the landslide to the foot of the landslide.
Checking the upstream and downstream of the landslide, many cracks appeared along the edge of the dike about 50cm (the total length of the cracks was about 200m, the upstream of the landslide was 150m, the downstream of the landslide was 50m). The cracks show signs of continuing to develop, with a wide risk of landslides, directly threatening the safety of the dike.
By the morning of July 8, 2025, the landslides continued to develop in both length and width, landslides to the middle of the dike, landslides developed the entire dike section about 250m long, directly threatening the safety of the dike, so it is necessary to urgently implement solutions to ensure dike safety (the dike is about 300m from the main dike of Ta Thuong - Duong Duc).
