Accordingly, in recent times, with the strong direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province on handling environmental pollution in the province, the environmental pollution has been basically controlled, there are no more hot spots in the province causing serious environmental pollution, and has received high support from the People.
However, according to the press, there have been some households and establishments operating illegally to recycle metals in Gia Binh commune that do not comply with the provisions of the law, causing serious environmental pollution and bad public opinion among the people.
To immediately handle this situation, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requested the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with the Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Construction and People's Committees of communes and wards to immediately conduct inspections of all locations that may cause serious environmental pollution, especially foundations for smelting metals, aluminum, copper... showing signs of moving the production site from Van Mon commune, Dai Bai commune (old) to the new operating site in the province.
Handling at the highest level (if qualified by law, criminal prosecution will be carried out) to immediately end this situation.
The People's Committee of Gia Binh commune requested production facilities in Dai Bai Industrial Cluster to immediately stop metal, aluminum, copper smelting activities that do not comply with the provisions of law.

Dai Bai Industrial Cluster was built in 2002 with an area of 6.2 hectares managed by the People's Committee of Dai Bai commune (old), with 75 production households.
Half a year ago, nearly 200 metal recycling facilities in the craft village and Dai Bai Industrial Cluster had to dismantle the chimneys due to failure to meet requirements for fire prevention and fighting and environmental pollution. To date, no facility has been re-licensed.
