Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Khac Than shared the similarities between Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces such as: natural, economic, historical, cultural conditions, difficulties and aspirations to rise ... Thai Binh province is determined to implement the guidelines of the Politburo, Secretariat, the Party Central Committee. Over the past time, the two provinces also often have the exchange, coordination and sharing to deploy the work for the process of consolidation and will continue to strengthen more to complete the work. The consolidation will promote the potentials, strengths, resonance and intersection of achieved achievements, overcome difficulties, and implement especially important political tasks in the coming time.
Mr. Nguyen Le Huy - Permanent Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee - briefly presented the draft project of consolidation of Hung Yen and Thai Binh province including the main contents: The necessity of Hung Yen and Thai Binh province; the situation of Hung Yen and Thai Binh province; The consolidation plan of Hung Yen and Thai Binh province; assess the impact when consolidating Hung Yen and Thai Binh province; plan to organize the organizational structure, arrange the contingent of cadres, civil servants, officials and employees and settle the regimes and policies when implementing the consolidation of Hung Yen and Thai Binh province; plans and roadmap for arranging and handling public offices and properties after consolidation of Hung Yen and Thai Binh province; Project on arranging communal administrative units in 2025.
Delegates focused on discussing and adding specific contents to the draft of the project to merge Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces as well as issues arising after the merger.
Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized: In recent times, leaders of Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces have strengthened leadership and direction of advisory agencies to prepare necessary conditions and develop a project to merge the province. Mr. Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee Secretary asked the Department of Home Affairs of the two provinces to summarize and supplement fully to the draft project of consolidation of Hung Yen and Thai Binh province to report to the competent authorities and organize the collection of people's opinions in the two provinces in accordance with the law before submitting to the Government for consideration and decision. Agencies and functional units of the two provinces actively connect and coordinate working directly with each other, ensuring inheritance, appropriate and not disturbed in the process of operating the new province.
