On May 1st, Mr. Dam Hai Van - Director of Nha Trang Bay Management Board (under the Department of Agriculture and Environment) said that he had directed the Rescue and Relief Team to maintain forces on duty 24/24h at the beaches to ensure safety for people and tourists during the holidays.
The areas where forces are deployed include Hon Chong - Dang Tat, along Tran Phu street and Thanh Nien Park. Rescue forces have the task of observing, monitoring, reminding and promptly supporting when situations occur.
In addition, the Nha Trang Bay Management Board has installed buoys to divide the safe swimming area.
People and tourists are advised to absolutely comply with the instructions and warnings of the rescue force, and at the same time regularly monitor signals such as flags, warning signs or direct reminders.
For people with cardiovascular disease, blood pressure or substance use, functional agencies recommend not swimming in the sea. People who know how to swim need to warm up carefully before going into the water to limit risks.
Multiple tourist groups are requested to proactively contact rescue forces to be guided, supported, and ensure safety throughout the sea swimming activities.
