On April 3, information from the Fire and Rescue Police Department - Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that functional forces had found the first victim's body in the case of 2 missing children at Hai Binh beach on the afternoon of April 1.

Specifically, at 2:45 am on the same day, the rescue force of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police found the body of H.B. H (born 2014) after nearly 1 day of searching.
Currently, functional forces have handed over the victim's body to the family for funeral arrangements, and continue to deploy the search for the remaining victim.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 1, a group of 4 children invited each other to swim in the Hai Binh beach area. After that, the 2 children left first, and the remaining 2 children continued to stay. In the evening of the same day, the family did not see the children return, so they panicked and organized searches in many places but found no trace.
The two children were identified as H.B. H and H.T. L (both born in 2014, residing in Truc Lam ward, Thanh Hoa province).
Immediately after receiving the news, local authorities coordinated with the police, border guards and people to urgently deploy search operations. Many fishermen and boats in the area were also mobilized to support the search along the coast and suspicious waters.
