On June 5, Vietnam Social Insurance held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work at Vietnam Social Insurance Region V, according to the roadmap for reorganizing the new apparatus.
According to Decision No. 1733/QD-BHXH dated May 12, 2025, from June 1, 2025, Lang Son Social Insurance will officially be renamed V Area Social Insurance - within the roadmap to reorganize the provincial social insurance system according to the direction of decentralization of management by area.
At the conference, the leaders of the Organizing Committee of Vietnam Social Insurance Officials announced the decision to transfer and appoint personnel to lead the Social Insurance of Region V.
Accordingly, Ms. Nong Thi Phuong Thao - former Director of Lang Son Provincial Social Insurance - was appointed to the position of Director of V Regional Social Insurance.
The two Deputy Directors of Lang Son Social Insurance, Mr. Nong Van Hoan and Mr. Ha Dinh Hai, continued to be appointed to the position of Deputy Directors of Social Insurance of Region V from June 1, 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Dinh Lieu, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance, congratulated the newly appointed officials and emphasized that perfecting the organizational apparatus and leadership personnel is an important step in implementing the Social Insurance Law (amended) 2024, effective from July 1, 2025, contributing to improving the effectiveness, efficiency of operations and service quality of the social insurance system.
He also suggested that the leadership of Social Insurance in Region V continue to promote a sense of responsibility, solidarity, innovation, creativity, ensuring the good implementation of political tasks in the new period, increasingly better serving people and businesses in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nong Thi Phuong Thao expressed her deep gratitude for the trust of the Vietnam Social Insurance leaders and affirmed that she will work with the unit to make every effort, promote the tradition of solidarity to build the Social Insurance of Region V to develop more and more, actively contributing to the cause of social security and socio-economic development of Lang Son province.
