Regarding the flooding situation, during the rain, some flooded spots appeared at underpasses No. 5, 6, Km9 - Thang Long Avenue, making traffic difficult.
The company has arranged forces to be on duty at key points to handle flooding; properly operate the main pumping stations on the system: Yen So Pumping Station, Cau Buu Pumping Station, Dong Bong 1, 2 Pumping Station, Co Nhue Pumping Station, Da Sy Pumping Station... to lower water levels in the system. Yen So pumping station is operating 5/20 pumps to lower water levels; the floating gates are operating according to the correct procedures, ensuring safety.
Regarding the work of ensuring the operation of the drainage system: Hanoi Drainage Company has deployed on-duty, solved drainage when it rains, properly operated the floodgates of the regulating lake and the main pumping stations to lower the water level on the system in accordance with regulations.
According to the forecast of the Northern Hydrometeorological Station, from the early morning of September 30, Hanoi will have moderate rain, heavy rain to very heavy rain and thunderstorms. The company continues to closely monitor weather developments, prepare on-duty forces and update reports when there are new developments.
