On the morning of September 30, the first Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, solemnly opened. President Luong Cuong attended and directed the Congress.
At the congress, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's decisions on personnel work, appointed the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and Deputy Secretaries of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided to appoint Mr. Dang Xuan Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The decision will be announced and presented at the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee. Mr. Dang Xuan Phong continued to chair the Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress until the end of the closing session.
Along with that, the Politburo decided to transfer, assign and appoint Mr. Truong Quoc Huy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The Politburo also decided to appoint 97 members of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and 27 members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
The decision appoints Mr. and Mrs. Tran Duy Dong, Bui Van Quang, Bui Duc Hinh, Bui Huy Vinh, Bui Thi Minh, Nguyen Manh Son to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee.
The new Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy (born in 1970) is from Lam town, Y Yen district, Nam Dinh province, now Ninh Binh province. Mr. Huy has professional qualifications: Bachelor of Labor Economics, Master of Economic Management; political theory qualification: Senior.
Mr. Truong Quoc Huy has held the positions of General Director of Vicem But Son Cement Joint Stock Company, Vice Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of Duy Tien District Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee (old), Secretary of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee (after the merger).
