On the morning of September 29, implementing the urgent direction of the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) on supporting the Central provinces to overcome the damage to the power grid caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi), Lang Son Power Company held a launching ceremony and established a shock team of 60 officers and workers with experience in incident handling, natural disaster prevention and search and rescue.
Accordingly, on the night of September 28 and early morning of September 29, storm No. 10 made landfall in the Central region with very strong winds, accompanied by widespread heavy rain.
The storm caused a series of power poles to fall, power lines to break and many transformer stations to be damaged, causing serious power supply disruptions.
In Nghe An alone, the power system suffered the most damage with 14 110 kV lines temporarily suspended from operation, 7,957 transformer stations and 172 medium-voltage lines had their power supply interrupted. This is one of the biggest power grid failures in the area in recent years.

To provide timely support, Lang Son Power Company has mobilized a team of skilled technical staff, equipped cranes, transport vehicles, specialized tools and essential materials to quickly deploy repair, replacement and connection plans to the power grid.
The company's Board of Directors requested the Shock Team to maximize their sense of responsibility, ensure absolute labor safety, and closely coordinate with Nghe An Electricity to quickly fix the problem, and soon restore power to serve people's daily life and production.
Lang Son Power Company affirmed that it will continue to stand side by side with Nghe An Power Company until the power grid system in affected areas is completely restored, contributing to ensuring stable power supply, serving the lives and economic development of people.
