Quang Binh - Authorities used anesthetic to capture a langur that attacked people on the street.

On the afternoon of November 20, the People's Committee of Bo Trach district (Quang Binh province) announced that it had just captured a langur that attacked people on the street.

The langur was captured at 3:00 p.m. the same day at Xuan Tien residential group (Phong Nha town, Bo Trach district). Authorities used anesthetics, checked its health, and then took it deeper into the forest to release it back into the forest.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on November 14, Mr. Nguyen Hong The (in Phong Nha town) was traveling by motorbike in Phong Nha town when suddenly a douc langur rushed out and scratched his back, causing him to fall off his motorbike.

After that, he disinfected and took antibiotics to ensure his health.

This black langur was found on the street in Xuan Tien and Cu Lac 1 residential groups (Phong Nha town).
