On December 26, information from the Border Guard Command of Son La province said that the unit had just successfully fought a drug case, arresting a subject and the evidence of 12,000 synthetic drug pills.
Accordingly, at 1:07 p.m. on December 25, in Nam De village, Chieng Son commune, the Northern Drug and Crime Prevention Task Force (Department of Drug and Crime Prevention of the Border Guard) chaired and coordinated with functional forces to discover and catch red-handed the subject Song A De (born in 1981, residing in Hin Pan village, Chieng Son commune, Son La province) illegally transporting drugs.
The seized exhibits included 12,000 synthetic drug pills, a mobile phone and nearly 5 million VND in cash.
The arrest process ensured the safety of people, weapons and equipment. Currently, the authorities are continuing to investigate and handle the subject according to the provisions of the law.
