According to the plan, the Vietnam Athletics Federation will organize a ceremony to celebrate and reward the national athletics team participating in the 33rd SEA Games.
The ceremony will take place tomorrow afternoon (December 26) at the headquarters of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports, with the participation of sports leaders, leaders of the Athletics Federation and coaches and athletes.

At this year's Games, Vietnam Athletics won 12 gold medals, 12 silver medals and 11 bronze medals, thereby continuing to affirm its position as one of the spearhead sports of Vietnamese sports. This achievement is only 1 gold medal behind host Thailand.
Athletes who won the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games include Ho Trong Manh Hung (3-step dancing), Bui Thi Kim Anh (high dancing), Tran Thi Loan (long-distance dancing 1,500m), Nguyen Thi Ngan (400m), Nguyen Thi Ngoc (400m), Nguyen Trung Cuong 3,000m), Quach Thi Lan (400m hurdles), Le Ngoc Phuc - Ta Ngoc Tuong - Nguyen Thi Ngoc - Nguyen Thi Hang (up for men's and women's 4x400m), Nguyen Thi Ngoc - Nguyen Thi Hang - Le Thi Tuyet Mai - Hoang Thi Minh Hanh (up for women's 4x400m); Nguyen Thi Oanh (up for women's 4x400m hurdles, 5,000m, 10,000m).

In particular, veteran athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh is a prominent highlight of Vietnam's athletics. She continued to compete impressively to successfully defend 3 strengths, contributing greatly to the overall achievements of the Vietnam Sports Delegation.
With the goal of completing the goal, the Vietnam Athletics team will receive a bonus of 1 billion VND from the National Athletics Federation, along with many other awards from sponsors.
