On December 24, the Traffic Police Department of Son La Provincial Police coordinated with Chieng Coi Ward Police to summon and handle a group of 6 young people who violated traffic safety order.
Previously, on the evening of December 23, during a patrol on National Highway 6 through Chieng Sinh Ward, the authorities discovered a group of people driving motorbikes without helmets, without license plates, lacking rearview mirrors; lining up, speeding, weaving, and swerving. When discovered, the group accelerated and ran away, using their feet to cover the license plate to avoid checking.
Through verification, the subjects including Q.V.T (born 2008), L.V.D (born 2010), L.V.C (born 2010), L.V.T (born 2009), L.T.Q (born 2008), L.V.M (born 2009), all residing in Chieng Coi ward; including cases of driving underage vehicles.
At the police station, L.T.Q. confessed to arbitrarily taking the parents' vehicle, not wearing a helmet, not carrying documents; fearing being handled, he ran away and asked the person sitting behind to cover the license plate. The case is being handled according to the law.
